Obituary of Lorraine Lise Piccolo

PICCOLO, Lorraine Peacefully on Wednesday, June 4th at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 77. Much loved wife of 51 years to John and cherished mother to Tammy (Pete), John (Lissa), Dennis (Debbie) and Lisa (Paul). Loving grandmother to Shannon, Maggee, Samuel, Gerrit, Lily, Tessa and Joshua. Also survived by her brother Clarence (Jean), sisters Jessie (Serge) and Suzie (Ward) and countless nieces, nephews and friends. Lorraine was a longtime book keeper for many businesses and a tireless volunteer for Club Roma. She was a fine bowler in her day, enjoyed reading and crosswords, and spending time with her family. Her pet cat "Geego" will miss her. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Lorraine's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Saturday, June 7th from 2-4:15pm. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4:30pm. If desired, memorial donations to Wellspring Niagara or the St. Catharines General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
