Obituary of Freda Ethel Maunder

MAUNDER, Freda Ethel (nee Lusignea) Freda went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 83. Beloved wife for 65 years to Clifford. Loving Mum of Kristine, Catherine (Jim), Elizabeth (Phil), Suzanne, Clifford Jr. (Lena) and Patricia (James). Freda is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Fred. Predeceased by her sisters Sarah and Doris. A special thank you to the staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital, especially to Steven, for their exceptional compassionate and considerate care. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Freda's life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow service. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Father's Place Niagara.
