Obituary of Clifford Gordon Maunder

MAUNDER, Clifford- Clifford went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and to meet up with Mum (Freda), peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 85. Beloved husband for 65 years to the late Freda. Loving father of Kristine, Catherine (Jim), Elizabeth (Phil), Suzanne, Clifford Jr. (Lena) and Patricia (James). He is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Clifford swung his tenor sticks for many pipe bands. He was a retiree of American Can Company of Hamilton. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, June 21st from 12p.m.-2p.m. A Celebration of Clifford's Life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 21st at 2p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Father's Place Niagara.
