Obituary of Sharon Ann Doherty

DOHERTY, Sharon- Passed away on Wednesday, June 18th, 2014 at her residence at the age of 52. Much loved sister of the late Christopher (Val) Doherty, Peter Doherty and Tom (Myriam) Doherty. Special aunt of Megan, Ryan, Mackenzie, Mathieu and Connor. Sharon was predeceased by her parents Tom and Joan. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Sharon was very active and involved with Special Olympics for many years. She will be fondly remembered for all her volunteer work. The family will recieve visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, June 22nd from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Celebration of Sharon's Life will take place on Monday, June 23rd at 11:30a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to Special Olympics or Community Living would be appreciated by the family.
