Obituary of Shirley Catherine Stonham (nee Hehir)

Stonham, Shirley (nee Hehir) - Peacefully, as she was surrounded by her loving family on Monday June 30, 2014 at Extendicare at the age of 78. Cherished Mama to Karen (Ron) Etherington; beloved Grandma to Kendra (Rheal) Mantha and great granddaughter Amelia. Will also be sadly missed by her daughter Sandra (Joe) Street; grandchildren Derek (Cindy), Christopher and Melissa Milot and great grandson Cole. Loving sister to Richard, Mona, Bob, Weldon, and Wendy. Predeceased by her parents Bertha and Harvey, husband Harry and brother Billy. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the wonderful care and support given to Shirley. Arrangements are entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, 905-937-4444. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Parkinsons Disease in Shirley's honour.
