Obituary of Dennis Staff Sr.

STAFF, Dennis Sr.- It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our father Dennis Isaac Staff, surrounded by his family, on July 6, 2014, one day short of his 85th birthday. He is survived by his children Dennis Staff Junior (Kathy), Barry Staff (Ronda) and Sheena Staff (Mike). Loving grandfather of Beth, Shane, Lee (Jennifer), Shallon (Stephen), Michelle and Meagan and his great grandchildren. He is finally reunited with the love of his life, his wife Edith (2006) and daughter in law Joceline (2006). Dad was born July 7th, 1929 in England, where he served with the Royal British Navy. He immigrated to Canada in 1967. Dennis is survived by his brother Bill (Beryl) and many nieces and nephews in England, and family in Canada and the U.S.A. We take comfort knowing that Mum and Dad are finally dancing together again. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, July 10th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. As per Dennis' wishes there will be no service. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
