Dear Adrian, Tobi, Ami and Brindle Family
It is with deepest sympathy that I add my prayers to support you in your time of grieving. Barbara was loved so much and the world is indeed a better place because of her love and care for so many.
Barb and I met when we were 18 years old and just starting work at GM Plant 2. We shared a friendship for several years and then our paths separated. I moved to Vancouver and then in 2010 while I was visiting in St. Kitts attending to my mom's funeral, who to my complete surprise showed up, but Barbie. We had not seem each other for 30+ years, but it was instant recognition and we ran into each other's arms to embrace. It seemed like only a day had passed since are last meeting. She looked so beautiful to me, her shining bright eyes, happy smile and her familiar laugh. I will always remember her that way.
God bless you all and know that you will remain in my prayers to bring you healing.
With Love
Linda Dutton

Adrian and Family,
Peggy and I are greatly saddened by your loss.
I will always remember Barb for her dedication, loyalty, and sense of humour during the years we worked together in the Forge. She played a major role in keeping our business moving forward. Her organization skills and her support for all the members of the Forge team were a given. "Her boys" were certainly fortunate to have both her friendship and her assistance for 15 incredible years.
We are sure you have unlimited wonderful memories of Barb, as an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother. When we saw her recently she showed us pictures, told us of happy family times, and made it clear how much she loved you all.
Sincerely,
Peggy and Fred Orders

God's Garden
God looked upon his garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again
My deepest sympathy to you and your family, Tobi on the loss of your wonderful Mother
Love, Heather Pieretti xo
