Obituary of Theodora Ann O'Brien

O'BRIEN, Theodora "Teddi" Surrounded by her family, Teddi passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Conrad Chartrand. Loving mother of Michael, of Toronto and Craig O'Brien, of Calgary. She is also survived by her first husband Robert O'Brien and by many extended family members. Teddi was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Muriel Sovie, of Ogdensburg, New York, and by her brother David Sovie. Born in Ogdensburg, graduate of McGill University (Montreal), a resident for many years of Kirkland Lake and Timmins, Ontario, she dedicated her working years to nursing and teaching at Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology. Teddi enjoyed living in the Niagara Region for the past 20 years. She will be much loved and missed. In accordance with Teddi's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
