Obituary of Andy Gesch
GESCH, Andreas "Andy"
After a courageous struggle, Andy passed away quietly in his home, with his family by his side on September 24th at the age of 50.
Beloved husband of Jackie (nee Lyon), cherished son of Erwin and Annemarie Gesch, and stepfather of David Bernas and Tracy (Rick) Knutsen.
Cherished Opa of Nicholas, Maddie, Wade and Grant.
He will be missed by his brother Ed (Darlene), sisters Regina (Arnold), Evelyn (Ernie) and Rose (Jim), and brothers Cy, Ron (Heather) and Ian.
Missed also by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family extends sincere thanks to Dr. Scher and his team for their comfort and compassion.
Mr. Gesch's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, September 26th from 6-9pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 27th at 9:30am with burial following in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to the Liver Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
