Obituary of Lorne Gerald Papetti

PAPETTI, Lorne Gerald Passed away surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at the age of 52. Beloved father of Brett and Laura. Proud grandfather of Aidan, Cameron and Mason. Loving brother of Brian, Cheryl and brother-in-law of Tom McMahon and Kim Papetti. Lorne will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and also by his best friend, John Oliver. Lorne was predeceased by his parents Sunday (August 2011) and Jerry (October 2011), and by his brother Darrin (May 1995). Throughout life, Lorne enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. A special thank you to the ICU staff at St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and support. Visitation for Lorne's family will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. A celebration of Lorne's life will take place after the visitation in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m. Cremation to follow the service. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to McMaster Children's Hospital.
