To My Dearest Dixon Family:
I am so sorry for the loss of your loving wife, mother and grandmother. I had the honour of knowing Joan the last 4 years of my life. She was so kindhearted, gentle, brave, at times feisty and a fighter. She will be missed and I would like to offer my deepest heartfelt condolences during this tough time.
Sincerely,
Alexander Toth and Family

It's taken me till now to be able to send this to you as I guess I hoped that this was all just sad joke; because I always believed that Joan would pull another rabbit out of her hat and continue to beat the odds.
But how can I be so selfish as to want her to continue such a long battle knowing how hard that battle was? I guess like you, I'm wanting her to still be here for me....for us and I'm thinking how really selfish that is of me because now I know that Joan is not 'hurting' any more.
I know that God has plans for Joan up there. No doubt she'll be running one of angel artists groups in providing us with some more of the beauty we have here; those beautiful landscapes, sunsets, sunrises and beauty we see everyday. God has a 'keeper' now taking a little pressure off him to continue giving us such beautiful nature.
So for the rest of my life, I will 'see' Joan in every beautiful thing I see in nature. I'll miss you my dear friend. Till we meet again on the other side.
