Our heart goes out to Kens family but especially to his beautiful daughter Tara.
Ken was a very sincere, caring, hilarius, and the list goes on. We have been very close to him for over twelve years and we have had many long talks about personal and not so personal things. He would tell me jokes and sometimes we'd be laughing so hard we would have to hang up because we couldn';t talk anymore. You would never see him look anything but impeccable and I would say "Hey Ken is that a new shirt?" He would say yes Golf Town had big sale on, so I just couldn't resist.I will miss him and our chit chats very much and still cannot believe he is gone. We last spoke on last Thursday night Oct 3/14 and he was saying how he really wants to move out from that basement and get an apartment above ground in a seniors bldg.because rent would be cheaper and he would have more room and more light. We said good-bye and he said I'll call you guys on the weekend and that never happened.
We miss you Ken

THE WAG GROUP
We, The Wag Group would like to offer our sincere condolences and sympathy to the entire Curvin Family and extended Families on Ken's Passing. Ken was a active member of this group up until He decided to move back to the Niagara Region. Anytime, when possible, He would join us for a round of Golf when He visited Fred Smith , who resides in Bowmanville. Had a good sense of humour, and would always share His latest story or joke with the guys.
Rest easy 'big guy'

I am so very sorry for the loss of your dad. I have only known Ken for a short time but the times we had together were so much fun. I met Ken through the golf league and was partnered with him many times in a golf tournament. He was such a kind soul and his sense of humour often brought laughter. May the memories of your dad often bring smiles .....May you rest in peace dear Ken and hit them long and straight.

Our hearts were filled with sadness upon hearing that Ken had passed. We hadn't seen him for many years but he & I shared e-mails. Ken was the Best Man at our wedding back in 1975 but we had known him way before that. Ken, his first wife Carole, Ted & myself spent so much time together and we have many memories of all the good times we shared. I also remember how happy he was when his daughter Tara came into his life.
RIP Ken.

I would like to offer my condolences to The Curvin Family on Ken's Passing .As a member of The Wag Group [ Whitby Area Golfaholics ], Ken and I worked and Retired at, and from GM of Canada. We had not been in touch for quite a while after Ken moved to the St. Catherine's area, but had heard his illness had progressed.
Times like this are never easy for those left behind but I hope you can take solace in the fact that His suffering is over.
On behalf of The Dinneen Family, our deepest sympathy.

We are very sorry to hear this sad news of our life-long friend. We have known Ken almost our entire lives. Mike lived next-door to Ken as toddlers playing together under his front porch. We all were close friends as teenagers. Our love, prayers and condolences to his entire family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Mike and Liz Wilson.
