Obituary of Catherine Lucin

LUCIN, Catherine (nee Mussar) Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the St. Catharines Hospital two days after her 90th birthday. Beloved wife of 68 years to Anthony "Tony" Lucin. Loving mother of Carole (Jim) Price, Janet (the late Robert) Malcomson, Douglas (Karen), Margaret (Les) Mitro and Ken (Candace). Proud grandma of Carrie (Geoff) MacGillivray, Melanie (Andrew) Santorelli, Kevin (Trish) Lucin, Michael (Cindy) Mitro, Kurt (Robin) Lucin and Amanda (Dave Lever) Mitro. Special GG of Holly and Sarah MacGillivray and Madeline Santorelli. Dear sister of John Mussar and sister-in-law of Rosemary Mussar. Predeceased by her siblings Susan Hilt, Anthony Mussar, Theresa Burkhart, Anne Gies, Peter Mussar and Marion Wildfong. Catherine will also be fondly remembered by Mary and Terry White and family. Special thanks to the medical staff at the St. Catharines Hospital for their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, October 10th from 7-9 p.m. A Catholic Liturgy will take place on Saturday, October 11th at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to One Foundation - St. Catharines Hospital Site would be appreciated.
