Obituary of Antonio Ruscitti
RUSCITTI, Antonio- It is with profound sadness that the family of Antonio "Tony" Ruscitti announce his passing at Upper Canada Lodge. Antonio was called back to the Lord after a valiant struggle with dementia, on Monday, October 20th 2014 in his 88th year. Devoted and beloved husband of the late Dora (2005). Loving father of Anna-Maria (Peter) Fedorovitch and Isidoro (Lora) Ruscitti. Cherished Nonno of Lisa, Leana and Anthony. Antonio will be lovingly remembered by many friends and family. He is predeceased by his parents Isidoro and Giovanina and his brothers Pasquale and Basilio. Loyal employee of General Motors of Canada for 38 years, retiring in 1992. Antonio was a kind and generous man, who enjoyed gardening and playing Bocca at the Italian Center, and above all else his family. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, October 24th from 2-4p.m.& 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Friday at 3:30p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street on Saturday, October 25th at 9:30a.m. Entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
