Obituary of Lawrence Sabo

SABO, Lawrence "Larry" It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Larry on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 71. Larry will be greatly missed by his best friend, soulmate and wife, Christine Pentesco. Beloved father of Jason, Allison (Scott) and Richard. Proud grandfather of Madeline, Julianna and Jackson. Larry will be dearly missed by his brother, Pete (Shurlee) and also by his extended family. Larry was predeceased by his first wife Irene Sabo and by his brother John. Larry was a long time member of the Grantham Optimist Club and past president of the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club. Some of his favourite pastimes included travelling, playing bridge and golf. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Larry's life will be held at the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club, 70 Westchester Ave., on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 1-4 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or HART All Breed Dog Rescue.
