Obituary of Robert "Bob" Burke

BURKE- Robert "Bob" Bernard It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob. On November 10th, while ATVing on an annual hunting trip in Nova Scotia, Bob was injured. He succumbed to those injuries in the hospital on November 16, 2014 at the age of 63. Bobby leaves behind his loving wife, Barb and his beautiful daughter Caitlyn. He has been reunited with his cherished son Cody, who passed away on November 22, 2013. Now father and son get to share a laugh and a beer together in heaven. Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Doris. He will be missed by his siblings Darlene Maybee (the late Archie), Bradley (Betty), Nancy (Ken) Clutterbuck, Larry (Leslee), John Lynch (the late Carolyn), the late Gerry, Ron, and Linda Burke. Special nephew to Girvan White and the late Arnold Burke. Very special uncle to Jamie Burke and beloved step son to Connie Harford. Brother-in-law to Donald (Nancy) Plain, David (Helen) Plain, Kathy (the late John) Julian, Sandra Fraser, and Debbie Plain (Gary Loughheed). Predeceased by his in-laws Ted and Ann Plain. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and by his many friends. Currently, we are waiting for Bob's arrival from Nova Scotia. Bob's family plans to receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 1 p.m. at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street. Cremation to follow the Mass.
