Obituary of Michael Leonard Stasiak

STASIAK, Michael Leonard - Passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto after a brief illness on November 18th, 2014. Beloved son of Dr. Robert and Joan Stasiak. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Patrick of North Carolina; and sisters, Catherine (Dirk) Kassenaar, and Maria (Tom) Yuyitung. Cherished uncle of Sarah, John, Hannah, Matthew, Sam, and Eric. Michael is also survived by many loving family members and close friends. Michael spent 30 years working at Oakville Hydro and was an ardent fisherman. Michael's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, November 20th from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, November 21st at St. Julia Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Avenue at 9:30 am. Cremation to follow. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 3:30 pm. If desired, memorial donations to Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation, Sick Kids Hospital, or Save the Children Canada would be appreciated by the family.
