Obituary of Angela Celest

CELEST, Angela (nee Biscak) Passed away peacefully after her courageous battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, December 10th, 2014 at the age of 63. Loving wife of George. Devoted mother of Tania (Jeff) West and Georgina (Mark) Bélanger. Cherished Nonna of Carli, Bree, Nathaniel, Alexandra, Krystal, Jamie, Justin and Dylan. Beloved daughter of Caterina and the late Stanislao. Dear sister of Anita Biscak (Jim) and Mario (Maureen) Biscak. Angela will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Angela was a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and a devoted member of the Catholic Women's League. In accordance with Angela's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday, Dec. 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, 316 Queenston St. on Monday, Dec. 15th at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
