Obituary of Peter Mozel

MOZEL, Peter September 22, 1938-December 20, 2014 Peacefully on Saturday, December 20th at the G.N.G.H. at the age of 76. Much loved husband of Maria (nee DaSilva), loving father of Debi (Clint), Rick (Faye), Darryl (Elizabeth), Carmine (Christine), and Filomena (Jerry). Cherished Papa of Brent (Meghan), Cassandra (Byron), Christopher, Daniel, Joseph, Kevin, Anthony, Nikolas, Julia, Dylan and Hailey. Dear brother of Margaret (Phil) Mazur. Peter also leaves behind many brothers and sisters in law, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Paul and Anne Mozel and his first wife Doreen (1978). The family extends sincere thanks to the nurses and doctors of the G.N.G.H. Stroke Clinic for their care and compassion. Peter's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, December 22nd from 7-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23rd at 9:30am in the funeral home chapel. Rite of Committal following in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
