Obituary of Henry Cobb

COBB, Henry Daniel February 21, 1927 - January 10, 2015. Passed away peacefully with family by his side in his 88th year. Loving husband of Anne (née Barich) for 45 years. Cherished father of Rick Cobb and stepfather of Jayne Evans (Rick) and Wendy Powell (Tim). Extraordinary Papa to 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Henry will be fondly remembered by his siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Henry was a retired employee of General Motors. He dedicated his time to helping family and friends. He was a founding member of Club LaSalle and a strong supporter of Lipa Park. He will be greatly missed. The family extends their deepest appreciation to Drs. Oinonen and Bokhari as well as the many homecare nurses, hospital staff and CCAC. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, January 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, January 14 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or NHS-St. Catharines Site.
