Passed away peacefully at Linhaven Home for the Aged on Monday, January 19th, 2015 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Mel Howarth (1996). Loving mother of Wayne and wife Sharon. Dear grandmother of Kevin (Drew) and Jennifer (Gary) Puto and great-grandmother of Joshua. Cherished sister of Henry (Anne) Martinson. Predeceased by her son John (1992) and many sisters and brothers. Helen was an employee at Powell Foods and later in life, she owned her own sweets shop in Merritton. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and an inurnment will take place on Monday, January 26th at 11 a.m. at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. A reception and gathering will follow at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall from 12-2 p.m.
