We are deeply saddened to hear of Nip's passing. He and Molly were the sweetest couple we have ever had the privilege of getting to know. They were devoted to their family and Church and no truer Christians ever lived. There legacy is there beautiful family who have contributed to our community in so many ways. It is with heartfelt sorrow that Mary and I express our sincere condolences to the family. Find comfort in knowing that your parents and Patsy lived role model lives and touched the spirits of many. They are all so dearly missed. God bless you all in this time of sorrow. With love and sincere sympathy, Len, Mary, Aaron and Desirae Stack.

So sorry you have had to say goodbye to your dad. My father, Ralph Speck (died 2010) and he played lacrosse together on the 1947 Minto Cup Championship team. My Uncle Al Speck lives in St Catharines and that is how I heard of Nip's passing. Peace to you all. We always miss those "Old Boys", but what great lessons and guidance they gave us! Sincerely, Linda Speck.

We were very privileged to know Nip, "The Best Dad and Grandfather". We sometimes waited in the line at Walmart to greet the greeter. His warmth and love for everyone is greatly appreciated by all of us who knew him. He will be truly missed, but we are sure he is at peace to be with the love of his life, Molly and his treasured daughter, Patsy. He leaves a legacy that truly inspires all who knew him.

I just now learned of Nips passing. I looked forward to see his smiling face
every time I walked through the doors at Walmart. We shared so many
wonderful conversations about our families. He was always there with a
kind word and encouragement, when my family was experiencing difficult
times. I have missed him so much, and felt so sad when he had to give up
greeting for Walmart. It has just not been the same since Nip left. My father
Ian Lemon and Nip knew each other for years. I grew up next door to Desi
and Molly Morris on Tecumseh St. I am so sorry for the loss of your Father
and Grandfather and Great grandfather, he was such an amazing man.he will
remain Forever in our Hearts. Deborah Wiebe and Family.

Danny and family, Your dad was so warm, caring, and kind. It's no wonder I loved visiting your home as a young boy or being driven to hockey with you or anything where your dad was with us. And yes I even liked going to Walmart when Nip (or "Mr. O'Hearn as I called him) was at the door. He is one of the people I've known that inspire me to think "I want to be more like him". Please accept our sympathy on the passing of your loving father. Marcel and Caroline VanRuyven

Nip was the best promoter of Niagara and St. Catharines. Whenever he brought the Brock Men's Hockey to our restaurant, you couldn't ask for a better gentleman and role model along with Murray Neistrom than he. He was one of those people that you wanted to be close to and truly enjoyed his company and wit. Rest in Peace with your darling wife who I know you missed very much.

Nip was a wonderful man. I greeted with him for several years at Walmart, and he always had a kind word for everyone. He was the face of Walmart the way Sam Walton intended, and there wasn't a day that I worked that someone didn't ask about him. He was always kind to my son and kept telling me he was going to put him in hockey skates because he was never too young to start. He will be greatly missed.

Nip was a wonderful man. My daughter absolutely loved him. I did not know him personally, we met him as the Walmart greeter. He use to take the time to stop us and talk to my daughter and give her happy face stickers. My daughter always looked forward to seeing him when we went in. My condolences to his family and friends.

The Mr O'Hearn I remember growing up was such a wonderful man. I feel like I lost a member of my family. I used to talk to him in length at Walmart and he never complained or failed to smile. I offer my heartfelt condolences to your family in this moment of sadness, you had him for his lifetime, and should be greatful. May God bless your family and reunite your Mom and Dad in Heaven.

Nip lived a great caring life and together with Aunt Molly had a warm and inviting open door Port Dalhousie home, wonderful kids and enjoyed a long story book marriage. We have all been deeply touched and better people for having Uncle Nip in our family.
