Obituary of Beverley Margaret Rigby
RIGBY, Beverley "Peggy" (nee Lemon)
Peacefully on Sunday, March 1st at Henley House at the age of 84.
Predeceased by her husband of 52 years William (2006).
Loving mother of Robin, William (Karen), Sean (Caroline) and Suzie (Bill). Much loved Grandma Peg of Jake and Brian and much loved sister of Sharon (Roger) Wood. Sister-in-law to Fred (Betty) and John, aunt to Patricia, Brian, Bruce and David Rigby and Shelley and Colin (Lisa) Wood.
Peggy was one of the first women rowers to compete in the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in 1947-48.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.
