Obituary of Carmine Marcella

Marcella, Carmine - Suddenly on Thursday March 5, 2015 in the presence of his loving family at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 78 years. Loving husband of Maria (nee Perilli) for 55 years. Beloved dad to his son Sergio and daughter Milva Biffis. Cherished Nonno of Alexandria, Celinna, Jakob and Alyssa. Survived by his brother Albert (Leda) and sisters Carmela (Giacomino), Maria (the late Giuseppe), Lucia (Vittorio), sister-in-law Antoinetta and many loving family members. Predeceased by his 2 brothers Paolino and Aldorino. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday March 8, 2015 between 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:30 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street on Monday March 9, 2015 at 12:30 pm. Entombment will follow the mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Catharines General Hospital - Dialysis Unit in Carmine's honour.
