Obituary of Adel George Wakil

WAKIL, Adel George He found his greatest happiness in what he could do for others. And so he carefully wrote his wise and thoughtful stories upon the hearts and minds of those he met along the road of his 88 Springs. On March 23rd, 2015. On his final day on this earth that he navigated across so well. He had what he loved most. To be in the comfort of his home with his children and grandchildren all around him. And on a star lit night, with the new moon in the sky, his beautiful wife Evelene said "Honey, I've been waiting for you." And with kind and caring Cecile at his side he slipped quietly into the night. "Be strong,” he would say. And "always stay together.” And so together his family shall be. Adelene, Jasmine, Junior (Michael) and Ameer. Jofey, Michael, Ali, Yasmeen, Jamil, Keera, Wyatt, Sklyer, Kloey, Landen, Aiden, Farrah and Seager. Joe, Robyn, Marie and Mike. Victor, Harold, Joseph, Odette and Beatrice. God be with you Dad, and you be with us until we meet again on that road to Someplace better than here. Love. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, March 26 from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines, on Friday, March 27 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara – The Stabler Centre or Daval Hospice.
