Obituary of Maria Francesca Komar

Komar, Maria (nee Juchnowycz)- On Friday April 10, 2015 at Heritage Place in her 96 th year. Predeceased by her husband Rev. Mykola and son John. She leaves behind a large family; sons Roman, George (Mary Ellen), Andrei, Nestor (Vicky), and daughter-in-law Nadia; grandchildren Christopher, Michael (Margaret), Johanna, Lara (Nick), Tamara , Nikolai, Alexandra (Damien), Adrianne; great grandchildren Noah, Adara and Elianna. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Monday between 2-4 and 7-9pm. Panachyda will take place in the funeral home on Monday at 7 pm. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, 14 Rolls Avenue with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church Building Fund in Maria's honour.
