Obituary of Maria Wegrzyn (nee Kryla)

Wegrzyn, Maria (nee Kryla) - Passed away suddenly on April 17, 2015 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 81. Born on September 29, 1933, in Grodzisko Gorne, Poland, and came to Canada in the 1950's. Had resided in Windsor, Combermere and St. Catharines. Predeceased by her husband Tadeusz (1994) and parents Stan (Karolina); brothers Jan, Feliks, Jozef, Wladyslaw and sister Genowefa. Loving mother to Stan (Laura). Loving Babcia to Krystyna and Mark. Also survived by many family members in Canada and Poland. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Monday from 6-9 pm. Vigil Prayers will be said in the funeral home on Monday at 7 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate Street, on Tuesday at 11 am with cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation in Maria's honour.
