Obituary of Pearl Madeline Barry (nee Hunter)

Barry, Pearl (nee Hunter) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday April 23, 2015 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 95 th year with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Andy (2001), her son John and sisters Grace, Jean and brother Jack. Loving mother to Sharon (Don) Gearing. Cherished Nanny to Kimberly (Michael) and Donny (Stephanie). Loving Nanny Barry to Abby and Tyler. She enjoyed making her famous cherry balls at Christmas. She loved to play cards and we loved playing with her even though she always won. A special thank you to Dr.Pringle and staff for all the wonderful care mom received over many years and a a special thank you to all the staff at St.Catharines Place for your compassion and care. She will be truly missed. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Home, 905-937-4444 . Private family burial will take place at Maitland Cemetery in Goderich, Ontario. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church in Pearl's honour.
