KELLY, Mary, Marguerite “Margie” (nee Currie) - Passed away on Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Ray Sr. Cherished mother of Ray Jr. (Donna) Kelly, Wayne (Sheilagh) Kelly, Dennis (Raye) Kelly, Brian (Lou) Kelly, Lynn (Don) Lorenzi and Randy (Moe) Kelly. Margie is predeceased by her son Robert-1996 (Pattie). Loving Grandma of 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Special sister of Bernice, Ursula (Greg), Germaine and Anne (Bernie), all from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Margie and Ray moved with their family from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia to St. Catharines in 1956. She had worked at Nurses Aid at Linhaven Nursing Home until retirement. She attended Mass everyday and made long time and lasting friendships. Margie was a member of the Jordan Skating Club and the Red Hat Society. She loved life - hosting and attending family and friend gatherings (which were many).The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 3:45p.m. on Friday in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 169 St. Paul Crescent, on Saturday at 11a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to Tufford Manor would be appreciated by the family.
