Obituary of Lidia Silvana Odorico (nee Paron)

Odorico, Lidia (nee Paron) - On Friday May 15, 2015 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Remo of 51 years. Loving mom to Paola Pollard, Angela (Gary) Thompson, Denis (Lisa), and Eddy (Tina). Cherished Nonni of Nichole, Bryony (Chris), Eddy, Weston (Richelle), Matthew, Dustin (Meagan), Chelsea, Krista, Mackenzie, Ryan, Olivia and Eddy Jr. Beloved Great Nonni to Ashlynn, Owen, Jack, and Colton. Beloved sister to Rinaldo (Elvira), and Lou (Margaret). Also survived by her nephews Michael (Judy), Matthew; cousins Rita (Ross), Tess (Brett) in Australia; many loving family members and special friends Rina, Dario, Ottaviana and Anita. Lidia was a proud member of Club Roma Womens Auxillary, and Fogolar Furlan di Niagara. Her passions in life were her family, friends, food and travelling. Family will be received at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street at 11am, with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial remembrances to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
