Obituary of Kathleen Ann Zutell

ZUTELL, Kathleen Ann (nee Howard) Passed away peacefully at Garden City Manor on Friday, May 29th at the age of 74. Predeceased by her parents George and Nora Howard, and brother Richard Howard. Dear and loving wife of Alan for 45 years. Loving mother of Kenneth of Ottawa, James of St. Catharines, Walter (the late Laura Churchill) of Oshawa, and Michael (Erica) of Northport, Alabama. Loved Grandma of Dylan, Corey and Rose. Dear sister of Kenny Howard, Mary Howard, Peter (Lynn) Howard and Jackie (Sam) Scelfo. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Kathleen was proud of being the first lady President of CYO Hockey and a Past President of the CWL of the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria. She also loved playing cards and trivia. The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of Garden City Manor for their care and compassion. Kathleen's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, June 3rd from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman Street on Thursday, June 4th at 10:30 am. Rite of Committal in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Wednesday at 8pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Cerebral Palsy Association would be appreciated by the family.
