Obituary of Merle Peter Higgins

HIGGINS, Peter Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the age of 74. Loving husband of the late Christine (2003). Beloved father of Peter Jr. (Jodie), Tina, and Michelle (Brian). Cherished grandfather of Bailey, Jessica, Nathan and Julia. Peter will be sadly missed by his furry friends Amber and Mahoney. Peter worked for the City of St. Catharines in the engineering department of the Lake Street yard for 36 years. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Saturday, June 6 from 2-4 p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
