Obituary of Bruno Remi Parent

PARENT, Bruno - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Sunday, June 7th, 2015 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Francoise (nee Rodrigue). Loving father of Julien (Moira), Lise Gratton (Fred), the late Marcel, Suzanne Spiece (Bill MacCabe), Maurice (Debbie), the late Denis, the late Richard, Rene (Denise), Lucie (Benoit), Paul (Paul) and Pierre (Susan). Bruno is survived by his 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Rejean, Gabriel and his sister Micheline and many relatives and friends. Bruno was a commander for Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree for many years. He belonged to the Man's Catholique League and Le Club de L'amitie. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlotn Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, June 10th from 7-9p.m. and Thursday, June 11th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Thursday at 8p.m. in the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculee Conception Church, 101 Garnet Street, St. Catharines on Friday at 12p.m. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. If so desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
