Obituary of Ivan John Jelenic

JELENIC, Ivan "John" Passed away peacefully on June 22, 2015 at Hospice Niagara in St. Catharines in his 95th year. Predeceased by his wife Angela, and his sisters Tina and Anna. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his step-daughter Marcella, his brother Vinko, and his sister Maria. He will remain in the hearts of nieces and nephews and all their families, Jelenic, Grubisa, Giancola, Giordano (Tocco), and Rusac, as well as his surviving relatives and friends in Croatia and Slovenija. Ivan's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, June 25th from 6-8pm. A Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 26th at 11:30am. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow the service. If desired, memorial donations to St. Alfred's Catholic Church, Hospice Niagara or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
