Obituary of James "Jim" Bryant
BRYANT, James "Jim" Anthony
Was called home to the Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in his 70th year. James is survived by his wife Angela, his daughter Roxanne (Tim) Hill and his son James "J.J.". James is also survived by his stepsons, Patrick, Denis, Bryn and Sean Keyes. Loving Granddad to Elijaah, Naomee, Jonah, Ella, Owen, Kasey, Matthew, Evan, Ryan, Mabel and Gwen. James will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families. James was retired from G.M. where he worked as an electrician for 25 years and he also drove a school bus for the past year, which he loved. A special thank you to the staff in the Oncology Unit for their support and care that was given to James. Visitation for James will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman (Church St.), on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Followed by the Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations given to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by James' family.
