Obituary of Michael Joseph Labonte

LABONTE, Michael 1947 - 2015. Beloved husband of Patricia for 42 years. Awesome Father to Braden and Dane and cherished brother of Loretta Wells, Cathy Sulkowski, Dan, Theresa Wilson, Kevin, and Maureen Butts. Michael was a kind and intelligent man who loved laughter, family and life. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and travel, and had a very well-used library card. The family would like to thank Dr. M. Ali and Hospice Niagara for their compassion and care. They would also like to acknowledge the Elmwood Group for their constant support over the past year. As per Michael's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A private Family Celebration will be held at a later date. If desired, the family would appreciate memorial donations to Hospice Niagara, Wellspring Niagara, or a Hospital Foundation of your choice.
