Obituary of Concetta Mancini

MANCINI, Concetta Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Nicola (1990). Cherished mother of Annamarie (Ugo) Donati, RoseMarie (Ivo) Pazzelli and Dorina (Don) John. Loving Nonna to Elizabeth (Nicholas) Johnson, Virginia (Brent Stead) Donati, John (Chris Song) Pazzelli, Lisa (Michael) Rosenberger, Anthony Donati and Warren John. Proud Bisnonna of Violet, Holly, Clark and Wesley. Dear sister of Lucia, the late Donato (Bice) Finoro, Italia (Biase) Di Ilio, Tony Finoro, Nicola Finoro and Guerrino (Alitta) Finoro. Concetta will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and is also survived by her family in Italy. Concetta worked for Canadian Canners for 30 years. She had a passion for cooking, baking and gardening. She was also a longtime member of St. Alfred's Parish. She forever doted on her entire family and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, August 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines on Thursday, August 13 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
