Obituary of Norma Carroll

CARROLL, Norma Beryl (nee Augerman) Peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, Norma passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015, in her 87th year. Norma will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 67 years, Richard. Loving mother of Rick (Terry), Nancy (Michael) Maney and Susan Carroll. Special and cherished Nanny of Allison. Dear sister of Shirley Neelin, John (Gerrie) Augerman, Patty (Brian) Walker, Brian (Suzanne) Augerman, and sister-in-law of Philip (Jacqueline) Carroll. Norma will be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her sisters Joyce (Bruce) Milligan, Karen (Alan) Otterdahl, sister-in-law Marion Wyant and by her brother-in-law James Carroll. Norma was a lifelong resident of St. Catharines. She worked for and retired from Sears Canada in 1988. She devoted many years of service to Linhaven and contributed time to the St. Catharines General Hospital where she was a proud Auxiliary member. A special thank you to her good friend, Mary McLynskey, and to our wonderful neighbours for all of their help, and also to the caregivers from CCAC, Paramed, and Dr. Lynett for their compassionate assistance. In accordance with Norma's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Norma's Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society.
