Obituary of Gerard Joseph Couroux

COUROUX, Gerard Joseph - Passed away on Monday, August 24th, 2015 at St. Catharines Place just 4 days after his 91st birthday. Beloved husband of Lucy for 70 years. Cherished father of Terry (Pauline) Couroux and Linda (Ed) Gautier. Loving Grandfather to 4 grandchildren. Great Grandfather of 9. Gerard is survived by his sister Hermeline (Fern) of Timmins. He will always be remembered as a very generous and loving person to all that knew him. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, August 27th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 3p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street; on Friday, August 28th at 11a.m. Rite of Committal at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill to follow. Memorial donations to Veteran's Affairs would be appreciated by the family.
