Obituary of Louise Spencer

SPENCER, Louise Peacefully with the love and support of her family, Louise passed away at NHS- St. Catharines Site on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, in her 90th year. Beloved Mother of Lynn (John), Cheryl (John) and Dr. Paul (Tracey). Special grandmother Becky, Matthew, Shaun, Ian, Emily, Josh, Wesley, Alexandra and great-grandmother of Justin, Benton, Keenan, Julia, Ciera, Clay and Cadence. Dear sister of Mary, Pat, Lena, Doonie and Ann. Louise will be missed and remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Louise was predeceased by her daughter Cyndie (2001) and by her sister Jean. During her life, Louise enjoyed caring for and providing a home for the Holy Cross Priests at York Street, for many years. A special thank you to the staff and friends at Anchor Pointe and to the St. Catharines Hospital staff of 5A, for their compassionate care and support. In accordance with Louise's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Friday, August 28, from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Louise's Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
