EMMOTT, Kay
Surrounded by her loving family, Kay passed away peacefully at Hospice Niagara on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at the age of 59, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Kay was the beloved wife of Rob for 39 years. Loving mother of Caroline and Gillian. Cherished grandmother to Nathan and Sophie. Kay will be dearly missed by her brothers Colin (Betty) Barnes of Waterloo and Graham (Rae) Barnes of Burlington. Kay was predeceased by her brothers Eric and James. Kay was a RPN at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital for 33 years. A special thank you to Dr. Levesque, the staff in the Palliative Oncology ward at the St. Catharines General Hospital and to the staff of Hospice Niagara for their compassionate care and support. In accordance with Kay's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by Kay's family.
