Mary, Korine, Jody, John and Brianna:
I am so sad that Joe is no longer with us but know that he will live on in our hearts. He was such a kind, friendly man and a great family friend - really he was family to us. I have many cherished memories of Joe - swimming at "Greco Beach", Halloween and Christmas visits, getting to stay up late to play cards and so many more. Growing up, Joe was the guy with the camera - he actually recorded the only baby video of me and I am so thankful to him.
Although Joe has a new home now, he is in good company resting beside my Nonno.
With love,
Elyse (Jesse & Rachel)

Dear Mary,Korine, Jody & Family,
Anne and I were both shocked & saddened when informed of Joe's passing. The news brought back years of memories and how I had the fortune to meet this gentleman. I believe he changed the course of my life.
As a new Pharmacy grad from U of T, I secured a job interview with Joe to work as an intern in his Midtown Plaza pharmacy. Due to circumstances the pharmacist I was replacing decided to stay working for Joe. I therefore ended up working for associate Barry Ray at the new SDM location in the Seaway Mall Welland, in May 1975.
Within years I became the youngest SDM associate in Canada when I opened my first store. Joe and I quickly developed a business repore and friendship over the years.
Friday nights became tennis nights with Joe and his group at White Oaks which was always capped off with chicken wings and tripe soup at Macris Palace over-the-river. At SDM business conferences Joe was always at my side. We had so many good times and laughs together. But, I need to stress that Joe was my business mentor and it was because of his sharp business acumen that I also became a successful businessman. For this I will always be thankful to Joe for taking me under his wing.
I certainly will miss him.
Our deepest condolences.

Mrs. Greco, Korine, Jody and Family.
I am so sorry to hear such sad news. Mr. Greco was always such a wonderful man, always greeting me with that wonderful and warm smile of his.
As a manager he was always approachable, caring and would always spend time getting to know his employees. He was a great man.
Through the years I would occasionally see him at White Oaks, and it gave me great pleasure in seeing him still enjoying his tennis.
I am out of the country and I am truly sorry as I will not be able to convey my condolences in person.
He will certainly be missed by all!

Our sincere condolences and prayers to Mary and family. Joe was a dear friend and neighbour and my memories go back to Joe when he worked in the drug department at the Gem store in Willowdale where I first met him when I was 16 and became a pharmacy assistant under his guidance and care. Those are happy memories and after all these years ending up living on the same street. I will always cherish those memories and the fun we had reminising about the good old days and more recently these years as neighbors
Thank you to the Greco family for sharing in Mom's 95th birthday in April and for being our friends. God Bless you and may he grant you peace. We will always be here for you.
Love and Wishes
Colleen and Kathie
