Obituary of Ascanio Petrucci

PETRUCCI, Ascanio Suddenly at home, Ascanio passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at the age of 89. Beloved husband for 64 years to Grazia. Loving father of Richetta (Salvatore) Bonaffino, Maria (Jerry) Crapsi and Anna (Glenn) Anthony. Proud Nonno of Angela (Mike), Carmelo (Alyssa), Adam, Lisa (Chris), Vanessa, Jesse, Lucas and Bisnonno of Luke. Dear brother of Joseph Petrucci. Ascanio was founding member of Club Roma. He will be remembered as a hard worker and the patriarch of our family. He will be deeply missed. Mr. Petrucci’s family will receive family and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday, October 18, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred’s Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In memory of Ascanio, in lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
