Obituary of Paul Antony Sabatini

SABATINI, Paul Antony It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Paul Sabatini. Surrounded by his loving family and close friends, Paul passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 in St. Catharines. Paul, has been reunited with his loving father, John (1981). Paul will be forever loved and missed by his mother, Maria. Paul will be dearly missed and was so loved by his sister Toni (Bryan "Charlie") Reiner and by his nephew Stephen. Paul was survived by his children Eric and Amanda Sabatini and also by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul spent nearly 20 years in the Casino business, the last 15 years as a Casino Marketing Executive. Paul started his Casino Career in Niagara Falls at Casino Niagara and later would oversee Casino Marketing at both Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino and Resort. He was extremely well liked by his work colleagues and casino customers, many of which stayed close friends as he continued his Casino career in Louisiana, Indiana, Oklahoma and most recently in Palm Springs, California, where he was the Director of Player Development for Aqua Caliente Casino Resort Spa. His outgoing personality, old school charm and big heart will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was 56 years young and left us far too soon. Special thanks to Dr. Amy Law, Dr. Eduardo Javier, Anthony Annunziata, Carl Savarino, Tom Bonanne, his exceptional team and Brian Estenson, for all their outstanding efforts and support for helping Paul through his final journey. Paul's family and Friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, Ontario, on Monday, November 16, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil and prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
