Obituary of Grace "Shirley" McPherson

McPherson, Grace "Shirley" Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Heidehof Home, at the age of 86. Shirley has been reunited with her husband Garnet (1973). Beloved mother of Deane (Shannon) and Denise (Michael) Magwood. Cherished Grandma of Jacob, Samantha, Holly, Benjamin and Mitchell. Shirley will be missed by her family and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Heidehof Home for their special care given to Grace during her stay. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Shirley's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. followed by an interment at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Main Street, Port Dalhousie. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Lung Association.
