Obituary of Per Hartvig Petersen
PETERSEN, Per
After a lengthy illness, Per passed away peacefully on January 3rd at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 60.
Predeceased by his parents Flemming and Jytte Petersen, mother in law Anny Larsen and nephew Brent Larsen.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years Lisa and his much loved sons Erik and Paul. He will be missed by his father in law of Poul Larsen, his brother Tom (Jonna), brother in law Peter Larsen and sister in law Tina (Darren Eales) Larsen. Cherished uncle of Lilli, Tim, Craig, Adam, and Nicholas and great uncle of Kurtis.
He was a longtime employee of Ford Motor Company in Oakville and was set to retire this January.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Per's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, January 11th from 7-9pm. A reception and visitation will be held in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall in the funeral home on Tuesday, January 12th from 2-4pm.
There will be an inurnment at Sunset Mindepark Cemetery in Puslinch in the spring.
If desired, memorial donations to Canadian Mental Health or the Addiction Research Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
