Obituary of Edna Smith

SMITH, Edna Died peacefully on February 3, 2016 at the age of 82. She was a loving wife for 57 years to the late Don Smith. Devoted mother to Julia Smith and Janis Freeman; much loved mother-in-law to Brad Freeman and beloved grandma to Kevin Freeman; sister to Tom (Joan) Potts and sister-in-law to Maureen Potts. Predeceased by her siblings Jack (Betty), George (Pauline), Connie (Rob), Hilda (Bill), Ken, all of Middlesbrough, England. Edna will also be missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Please join the family to celebrate Edna's life on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
