Obituary of Phyllis Dobell

DOBELL, Phyllis (nee Taylor) Passed away peacefully on March 10, 2016 at Albright Manor, in her 89th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry for 67 years and the loving mother of Ruth (Jerry) Lemick, Mark (Anita) Dobell and Russell (Susan) Dobell. Cherished Grandma of Karen (Josh) Diamond, Brian (Samar) Dobell, Cheryl Dobell, Lindsay (Jason) Bell, Laura (Richard) Johnson and Great-Grandma of Liam, Jordan and Travis Diamond, and Nathan Bell. She will be missed by her sisters in law Lily Peacock and Judy Brooks, and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Phyllis is predeceased by her loving parents Charles and Miriam Taylor, and her siblings Basil, Stan and Jim Taylor, Bertha Hall and Ruth Matthews. She was a longtime member of Facer Street Baptist Church and later became a member of Scottlea Presbyterian Church. Phyllis will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Phyllis's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Phyllis's Life will be held in the funeral home chapel Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow reception, at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. Memorial donations may be made to Scottlea Presbyterian Church.
