Obituary of Ines Maria Costantini

COSTANTINI, Ines Maria (nee Missana) With the love and support of her family, Ines passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital, in her 85th year. Ines has been reunited with her husband of 44 years, Ugo (2005) and with her daughter Ilva (Scott) Stoll (1995). Beloved mother of Claudia (Christopher) Jones. Proud Nonna of Julia and Elaine. Dear Zia of Danila (Ted) Hill, Ivana (David) Andrus and their families. Loving sister of Elda (the late Galdino) Gregoroni and Duino (Gabriella) Missana. Ines will be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also predeceased by her sister Lidia (Paolo) Zucchiatti. A longtime resident of St. Catharines, Ines was a parishioner of St. Alfred's Church and together with her husband, they were members of Fogolar Furlan Niagara and founding members of Club Roma. Throughout Ines' life, she enjoyed her vegetable, herbs and flower gardens but most of all she enjoyed her time with her family. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, support staff and Sister Louise at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital for their care and support. Visitation for Ines will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Thursday, April 14 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 3 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street, on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow Mass, at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital or to the NHS- St. Catharines Site.
