Dear Loretta, It was just Yesterday that you would hold your sister's hand at the end of your driveway waiting for someone to play with. I did not know your father growing up. I was too busy playing. But I got to know him later on in years. It's true, he always had a smile. He had a pleasant demeanor and he was interested in you. At the end of his life he can say that he had two beautiful daughters and a lovely and always charming spouse. No one is perfect in this Life, we all try our best. But something can be said of our parents. They worked hard and sacrificed all their lives just so that their children could have the best. Our parents were last so that we could be first. They were, in reality,
the true lucky ones. They were born and raised with fraternal love and harmony. We may never see such a generation again. Let's hope that we may never forget Mom and Dad and what they stood for so that not us but their grandchildren will continue to show kindness and sacrifice for generations to come.
